Tasting Opera turns every event into a celebration of Made in Italy, through music and fine cuisine.
Tasting Opera boasts over 100 recipes inspired by the favorite dishes of composers and maestros who shaped the history of Italian opera. Together with the chef of the hosting venue, a tailor-made menu is designed, featuring customized variations that narrate the essence of the opera dinner show. The main goal is to stage a unique multisensory experience, where each course is reinterpreted by a top-level culinary brigade, adding personality, style, and a creative touch.
Music has the power to transport the audience back to the dimension where each idea was first conceived and brought to life, stimulating every sense: Tasting Opera takes you back to the mid-19th century to relive Rigoletto, while savoring one of the favorite dishes of its composer.
Our show philosophy is rooted in storytelling: every opera dinner show offers an unforgettable experience, a timeless treasure for the five senses, a story to be passed down from generation to generation, preserving it as an eternal part of our cultural heritage, today recognized by UNESCO.
Each course on the menu is a unique pairing between symphony and authentic Italian gastronomy. The dinner may begin with a "Risotto alla Verdi", accompanied by an aria from Rigoletto, followed by a "Tournedos Rossini", performed in harmony with notes from Il Barbiere di Siviglia, or perhaps Libiamo ne’ lieti calici, paired with a fine Italian wine. The experience concludes with the "Delizie di Donizetti", a sweet dialog between symphony and pastry art.
Tasting Opera creates a one-of-a-kind combination between opera and fine cuisine, with a dedicated menu telling emotions, sounds and flavors. What's naturally beautiful becomes truly unique: the beauty of this union becomes trascendental, where music's timeless power tells life stories from centuries past, making them extremely human and universally felt.
Tasting Opera has taken part in major institutional events: from the Future Hospitality Summit 2024 at the Medinat Jumeirah in Dubai, to the gala dinner at the Park Hyatt Dubai, to the 50th anniversary of the NIAF Foundation at Palazzo Colonna in Rome. Looking ahead to 2026, important international tours are already in preparation.
Each event is staged in an exclusive luxury setting, typically within a prestigious hospitality venue that provides its own chef and culinary brigade, or dedicated catering service.
