Roberto Codazzi, scientific curator, journalist, musician, and musicologist, guides the selection of the young operatic talents of Tasting Opera and creates pairings between the favorite dishes of the great composers and their most famous arias. Always attuned to the dialogue between music and gastronomy, he has dedicated essays and publications to this theme, including "L’alfabeto della cucina verdiana" and "Musicisti a tavola".
“Because,” he says, “musicians are hungry beings, in both the literal and the figurative sense of the word. Hungry for food and for feelings, for good wine and for passions. In the end, these souls, seemingly so distant, move in step, so often as complements to one another.”
Tasting Opera designs bespoke events in exclusive settings, in collaboration with masterful chefs and their brigades.
